The Medway Countryside partnership are running a work party to remove floating pennywort, a non native invasive species, from the Medway at Yalding.

They are looking for volunteers in canoes or kayaks to rake and collect the pennywort.

If you can help out, please contact Catherine Dacey ([email protected]) by 7th November so we can arrange transport of boats and advise MCP of our numbers.

There will be tea/ coffee and cake provided along with alcohol gel.
