Club Concerns

Maidstone Canoe Club strives to be a welcoming community for all our members, new and old.  We're proud of our professionalism and culture, and have robust structures in place to make sure everyone feels safe at our Club.  However, we recognise that occasionally there will be issues which need resolving, and we rely on you - our members - to let us know about them.

If you have any concerns about events at the Club, please speak to one of the contacts below.  All messages will be treated in strictest confidence and dealt with in accordance with British Canoeing guidelines and best practice.

  • if you have concerns about the behaviour of anyone at the club - whether that's a coach, river leader, or member - please contact our Welfare Officer: [email protected]. 
  • if you are concerned about the coaching or river leading at a club event you've attended, please contact the Coaching Development Group chair - [email protected]
  • for any issues relating to paddling equipment at the club, then the Racing Bo'sun ([email protected]) or General-Purpose Bo'sun ([email protected]) are the best people to speak to
  • for any other concerns, you should contact the Club secretary who will be able to advise further.
