This is part of our Introduction to Moving Water series of events, following on from the successful (sunny) trip to Shepperton Weir. There will be plenty of coaching available for those new to moving water!

It is easy to get on anywhere on the course and build up to running the whole thing, or you could just stay where you feel comfortable to practise your skills.

Meet at the club at 12:00pm 
The course is open from 2.30pm to 6.00pm
If we leave there at 6.00pm, we should be back at the club for 8.00pm

You will need dry clothes to travel home in. As well as the usual boat/paddle/deck/buoyancy aid/river shoes, you will need a helmet. Bring drinks and something to eat. Hopefully you will need sun screen. 

It costs £12.00 for admission (£9.00 for a child). You will also need to pay a contribution towards fuel/Dartford Crossing. 

Although this trip has been organised as part of the Introduction to White Water series, other club paddlers are very welcome to join us too! You need to be paddling at three star level to sign yourself onto the course. Paddlers not at this standard can be signed on by a coach.

The coaching is free, but you will need to make a contribution to the coaches' admission charge. 

The Nene course is a great place to develop your moving water skills. If you are not sure whether you are ready for this trip then please ask one of the coaches at the club.

Please sign up on the forum if you would like to come. When we have an idea of how many people want to come, we will be able to organise transport.

Paddlers who haven't been yet this year, and are signing themselves on, need to download the documents from the website to apply for a new NWC Paddle Card.
