Maidstone Canoe Club

7 hour training with on going assessment for the BCU 1 Star Award. This is the first achievement award in becoming a competent paddler.

By the end of the day you will be able to:

Paddle forwards, Paddle backwards, Stop efficiently, Capsize and rescue skill , Turn the boat effectively, Learn some theory especially about safety and generally be more confident in a sheltered environment.

You will need to bring with you:
Paddling kit
Boat if you have got one (we can provide one otherwise)
Lunch


Cost will be £10 with a pass fee of £6 for BCU members (£8 non-members)
