This is an assessment day only - see other dates for 2* training.


The two star award is in both canoe and kayak.  You have to pass both to gain the award

You will need be able to:

Paddle forwards, Paddle backwards, Stop efficiently, Capsize and rescue skill , Turn the boat prevent a capsize, moveing the boat sideway,securing the boat, Manoeuvre in a confined and a journey of 2hr / 3km and theory.

You will need to bring with you:
Paddling kit
Boat if you have got one (if not we can provide one)
Lunch
Spare dry clothes to change into

Cost will be £10, with a pass fee of £6 for BCU members (£8 for non-members)
