Assessment on Saturday 22nd June.  The two star is in canoe and kayak you need to pass both to gain the award.

By the end of the day you will be able to: Paddle forwards, Paddle backwards, Stop efficiently, Capsize and rescue skill , Turn the boat move the boat sideway, prevent a capsize,securing and theory in a sheltered environment.

You will need to bring with you:

Paddling kit

Boat if you have got one (if not we can provide one)

Lunch

Change of clothes

Cost will be £10 with a pass fee of £6 for BCU members (£8 non-members).  You will need to attend both days to pass the award.
