I would hope that ALL competent paddlers in the club hold this certificated award, you might be rescuing me one day! Essential for prospective Coach Level 1 candidates. Involves all aspects, preparation, equipment, paddling and rescue. Candidates must be at 2* competency level (so they can get to a rescue situation) and be prepared to get wet. There is also a Bank based alternative for bank based coaches, (yes there are such things).
