This is one of my regular Wednesday paddles for anyone below Explorer Award. You will be supported on an evening paddle during the Cooler months!

Please wear warm clothing many layers and take a snack. If the river is unsuitable to paddle we will not paddle!

You will need to bring a light to be seen on the river during these dark nights. If you are uncertain about what to bring, turn up, with what you have and we can discuss the best option for you. You will get a paddle.

An evening paddle in the dark mid week is a great stress reliever. Try it!

Disclaimer: all our trips are run by club members like you, and unless specifically described otherwise are peer paddles.  If you think that you would benefit from the support of a formal river leader or coach, please contact the trip organiser in advance - we can usually arrange something!  Otherwise you should be confident that your own ability matches the trip as planned.  If your trip is being led by someone - a more experienced paddler, river leader or a coach - it is your responsibility to mention any medical or other issues which may arise during the trip.
