Maidstone Canoe Club

The Paddlesport Instructor is the foundation of coaching at the Club, delivering beginner courses and ongoing coaching at the Club.  It's a great way of putting something back, and is incredibly rewarding.  Maidstone is fortunate to have a well-supported coaching structure at the Club through our wonderful Coaching Development Group - if you haven't already, join the mailing list and pop along to one of the meetings to have a chat!

Club members who commit to running beginner sessions after their training is complete (full support from experienced coaches provided) will have the full cost of their training reimbursed by the Club. An FSRT is a pre-requisite for this course - please don't sign up for the course unless you're sure you'll have the award prior to the course.  

(Although not pre-requisites for the course itself, in order to coach at Maidstone Canoe Club you will also need an 8-hour first aid, DBS, and 3-hour Safeguarding course (online option possible).  Drop Mark, CDG Chair a line if you want to chat about any of these)
