River Avon Weekend Evesham to Pershore and Pershore to Eckington

Download as iCal file

Saturday 13 May 2023, 10:00
To Sunday 14 May 2023

This is a scenic paddle along the Avon likely to be from Evesham to Pershore which is 10 miles then Pershore to Eckington Bridge at 9 miles if you would like to on Sunday.

Since we will be there Saturday and Sunday it will be best to stay Friday and enjoy a long paddle on Saturday with another opportunity for a shorter paddle on Sunday.

It's a peer paddle so all welcome if you feel comfortable on moving water that can reach grade 1 (quite placid)

It'll be fun with the odd little feature to chute and glorious Worcestershire countryside.

We'll look at accommodation and boat shuttles nearer the time.

Sign up if you want to come along for a relaxed paddle with stops on the way.

Contact Claire if you need more information 07585 003794

Disclaimer: all our trips are run by club members like you, and unless specifically described otherwise are peer paddles.  If you think that you would benefit from the support of a formal river leader or coach, please contact the trip organiser in advance - we can usually arrange something!  Otherwise you should be confident that your own ability matches the trip as planned.  If your trip is being led by someone - a more experienced paddler, river leader or a coach - it is your responsibility to mention any medical or other issues which may arise during the trip.
