Trweryn Trip

Download as iCal file

From Friday 03 July 2015
To Sunday 05 July 2015

We will be at the Tryweryn this year on the 3rd 4th and 5th

Find out about the river here:

www.canoewales.com/afon-tryweryn.aspx

We will be camping at www.tytandderwen.co.uk/ Camping is around £7 a night. We usually eat an evening meal at a pub in Bala.

Car sharing is suggested to reduce fuel costs. It takes around five hours to get there. The Lower Tryweryn is a great section for those with a bit of moving water experience. The Upper offers a bit more of a challenge for those more experienced paddlers.
There is a centre where you can change and get a shower. They also sell snacks and drinks. There is a facility charge of around £7 a day for BCU members, £15 for others.
If you are unsure whether this is for you, Talk to the club members who have been before we always welcome new paddlers

Location Tytandderwen Caravan Park Llangynog Road, Bala, Gwynedd, LL23 7EP

Disclaimer: all our trips are run by club members like you, and unless specifically described otherwise are peer paddles.  If you think that you would benefit from the support of a formal river leader or coach, please contact the trip organiser in advance - we can usually arrange something!  Otherwise you should be confident that your own ability matches the trip as planned.  If your trip is being led by someone - a more experienced paddler, river leader or a coach - it is your responsibility to mention any medical or other issues which may arise during the trip.
