Beginner's Course for Club Newcomers

Paddle with us!  If you're thinking of joining Maidstone Canoe Club and learning to paddle, you're in the right place!  This 1-day Beginner's Course is designed to give you the basic skills to control the boat.  Once you've completed the course, you'll have the confidence and abilities to join us on our trips, tours, and regular paddles on the Medway and beyond.

Please note that courses must be pre-booked.  We are no longer running "open" sessions - all novice paddlers must attend one of our Introductory Courses.  Please see this page for details.

Our courses cost £60 (£40 for children), and are run by our friendly qualified coaches.  Your coaches for this Course will be Alan Nevard.  

Please arrive at 9:00am - we will aim to be on the water by 09:30am.  You will need to bring a packed lunch and a change of clothes.
