Post-New-Year Sea Paddle - Update

Download as iCal file

Monday 02 January 2017, 08:00 - 17:00

For those who would find Sunday's paddle too painful! or who would love a second paddle or escape the shopping etc...

Details to follow.  Please speak to Mike Lambourne.

Update....

The planned paddle is from Queenborough to the Strand, about 10 miles but could be longer if we can paddle through Nor Marsh (depends on tide and levels when we get there). Meet at club 9am to load boats (Sea boats, tourers or cross overs), drive to strand to leave car or cars  to take drivers back at end of paddle also leave dryside clothes, all people and boats drive to Queenboroug, launch 10:00-10:30, paddle to Strand stopping on route for lunch. This trip will depend on weather conditions, mainly wind speed so if you would like to go keep a check on the website but also let Mike know.

Disclaimer: all our trips are run by club members like you, and unless specifically described otherwise are peer paddles.  If you think that you would benefit from the support of a formal river leader or coach, please contact the trip organiser in advance - we can usually arrange something!  Otherwise you should be confident that your own ability matches the trip as planned.  If your trip is being led by someone - a more experienced paddler, river leader or a coach - it is your responsibility to mention any medical or other issues which may arise during the trip.
