Introduction to moving water

Utilising some of the features on the Stour, to practice moving water skills of ferry gliding and breaking in and out. We will meet at the Club to sort out gear, and then spend the day at Chartham on the beautiful River Stour (about 40 minutes from the Club).

The day is to build confidence and have fun, and is suitable for anyone with their 2* / Explore award, or equivalent experience.  

Start at the club at 9am, bring a packed lunch, warm clothes to wear in your boat and a complete change afterwards, you will get wet!  We've got some spraydecks, cags and other gear you can borrow, please speak to us in advance to arrange.
