Tryweryn Whitewater Trip

A Bank Holiday trip up to the beautiful River Tryweryn!  This dam-fed river provides the best summer whitewater in the country, and is always a great paddle.

The Lower Tryweryn is a lovely grade 2/3 and is suitable for those with less experience, and the Upper is a fantastic grade 4 playground for more advanced paddlers.

For those with less experience who would like some support on the river, there will be river leaders / coaches available on the Saturday, and from noon on Sunday.  If you haven't paddled the Tryweryn before, please contact Paul.

Disclaimer: all our trips are run by club members like you, and unless specifically described otherwise are peer paddles.  If you think that you would benefit from the support of a formal river leader or coach, please contact the trip organiser in advance - we can usually arrange something!  Otherwise you should be confident that your own ability matches the trip as planned.  If your trip is being led by someone - a more experienced paddler, river leader or a coach - it is your responsibility to mention any medical or other issues which may arise during the trip.
