Learn to paddle Canadian canoes, the original load-carrying trip boat.  Perfect for family picnics, wilderness trips, or just day trips on England's waterways, these boats are gorgeous, comfortable and roomy.  In the right hands, they're elegant, fast and nimble.

There's a lot of crossover between kayaking and canoeing, so your kayak skills will help you get going - and your newly-learned canoe craft will make you a better kayaker!  It's a win-win, and there's no better way to spend the Bank Holiday than in a boat on the river.  Particulary a boat with space for a picnic!

This course will be run by Annie Davis, and is suitable for any Club member (ages 16+).  You'll need a packed lunch, drinks, and suncream, as well as a kneeling mat - speak to Annie about this.
