Lakes District trip

Programme for the lake Distinct weekend

Description of trip

This trip will be a touring trip to the Lake District in Cumbria either travelling up on the Thursday or Friday we will be paddleing at total distance of 36km over the weekend.

We will be staying at

Gillside Farm

Glenridding ullswater

Cumbria

CA11 0QQ

£9 per person per night + £2 per tent + £1 per car per night.

Saturday Plan

We will paddleing Ullswater Getting in at Pooley Bridge getting out at Pooley Bridge we will be padding a total distance of 26km seeing same lovely countryside and wildlife.

Sunday Plan

We will be paddleing Derwentwater getting in at Kettlewell getting out at Kettlewell we will be paddleing a total distance of 10km seeing same lovely countryside and wildlife stopping at Keswick for lunch visiting St, Herbert’s island, Rampshholme island and Lord’s island.

Basic Kit list

Paddleing kit, Boat, Paddle, Camping kit, Clothes to be over the weekend, Money for the pub

Basic First aid kit for yourself, Paddle snacks

Travelling

Where possible share cars work out between yourself who travelling with who.

This trip is a coach led trip have a max of 10 space got 3 spaces left on the trip this trip is for Explore Award and above
