Maidstone Canoe Club

This is a new series of sessions we're trying this year, looking at the skills needed to move from the flat water environment to more dynamic water.  This will be mainly aimed at those hoping to paddle whitewater, but will also be useful for those wanting to do more sea kayaking or any other dynamic-water environment.

(Proficiency in the skills covered in these sessions will be a pre-requisite for our Intro to Whitewater course which will be held in September, date TBC)

We'll be looking at:

• forward paddling
• edge control
• support strokes (pool session May 23rd - please book this online as usual when booking opens)
• body rotation and confidence leaning outside the boat
