Fantastic to see so many faces at the AGM on Friday!  Particular congratulations to the award winners this year - all richly deserved. Samuel Hill for Best Junior; Catherine Ayling for Best Racer; Jon and Clare for Best Newcomers; James Copeland for the Chairman's Award; Kathy for Best Recreational Paddler; President's Award to Anj Hill; and in memory of long-time Club member Jeff Parsons, a new award for Best Old Age Paddler (OAP) went to Norman Brooks.

Just a reminder that the club's AGM is on Friday 18th commencing 19:00. Please try to be there is you can. The organisation and running of the club is a team effort and cannot be left just to the committee, who have put in a lot of work over the past year. We need your support as well.

Two dates are on the calendar for litter picks in support of PPP the first from Maidstone to Allington on Tuesday 22nd March meeting at 9:00. The second centred on Teston Country Park on Thursday 31st March meeting at the club at 10:00 or at Teston at 10:30.  If you can help please register on the calendar. 

2022 Beginner Courses Now Live

Dates for our 2022 Beginner Courses are now live!  We're currently booking for courses starting in April, May and July - more dates will be added during the summer, so keep an eye on our Facebook page or Twitter.  We're really looking forward to welcoming you all onto the beautiful River Medway this summer!

Rochester to Strand Trip Cancelled

Pool session tonight (15th Feb) - CANCELLED

I'm really sorry, but the pool has just called me (14:30) and told me that their lifeguard has fallen over and broken her ankle.  They've been unable to find a replacement lifeguard.Unfortunately they won't accept one of our lifeguards - only their own vetted employees - and so I have to cancel tonight's session.I'm really sorry about that - please book on the next available slot, and I look forward to seeing you on the next one.
