Here are a few pics of the peageant from a paddler's view piont. The first few are the Shadwell canoe centre where we had our check in and breifing on Saturday then of our paddle up to Chelsea at 8:30am Sunday, really good atmosphere. Then a bit of a wait at the Cremorne Canoe centre before getting on the water and a 2 hour wait for the procession to start so got a few pics as we waited and the start of the procession but once we started there was no time to stop for pics. The very details plan was for the kayaks to form a tight formation behind the rest of the man powered craft and I and a few others tried to stick to this plan and took station on the left of the procession  but most of the kayaks raced ahead and worked their way through the dragon boats and the rowing boats, I did not catch them up till we got to Tower Bridge where I took a couple more pics so I paddled mostly by myself but got a lot of cheers from the spectators on the north bank while most of the action was on the south bank. By the finish I don't think I have ever been so wet, except when I swim, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
