Many thanks to James and Caroline for organising this trip, it was really excellent both the river, weather and company. The River Stour is so variable, in places like the Medway, the Mole and the Stour in Canterbury but you can have all this in a one day 10 mile paddle with plenty of small weirs that can be portaged or shot. A pity that only six could make it this time but we will try and organise another trip later in the year,  probably September so check the club calendar and forum for news.Â
