Lee Valley Re-Opens This Saturday - 8th Sept

Lee Valley Whitewater Centre re-opens to the paddling public this Saturday after the excitement of the Olympics.  Thereafter it looks like it's going to be open every Saturday & Sunday all day, and from 6pm on Friday nights.

It's an ideal opportunity for someone to organise another Club trip there, and also makes a great short-notice whitewater paddling trip if you've got a couple of hours free one weekend.

Coaching Grants Available in Kent

Kent County Council is making money available for sports coaches within Kent.  These grants can be used for BCU Coaching qualifications - please see the attached forms & guidances notes, and speak to someone in the Coaching Development Group ([email protected]) or on the Committee ([email protected]).

Applications close on September 28th.
